HI Investments Africa does not guarantee investment returns. All investments involve risk, including the possible loss of principal. Monthly performance figures shown in a cohort are historical, not a forecast of future results.
Licensing and regulatory status
HI Investments Africa is not itself a licensed fund manager, broker, portfolio manager or securities dealer. Investment products and securities activities connected to a cohort are conducted through appropriately regulated and licensed providers, not informally pooled.
Cohort structure and commitment
A cohort only activates once it reaches its required member count, and no one may join after it starts. Each member commits to that cohort's specific monthly amount and duration, set at the cohort's creation. This is never a fixed platform-wide figure.
Missed payments and termination
A missed contribution carries into the next month's amount due. Accumulating two missed months in a cohort flags the membership for admin review, which may result in retention (with the missed amount carried forward) or termination. On termination (whether from a review decision or a platform-wide action), you are remitted exactly the principal you contributed to that cohort, not its current value. Any gain is forfeited and no loss is passed on beyond what was contributed.
Fees
Payment gateway transaction fees are added on top of your contribution and paid by you, they are never absorbed by the platform.
