1. What we collect
To create your account and verify your identity, we collect your name, email, WhatsApp number, and (during KYC) your date of birth, NIN, a photo, supporting documents, and your bank account details. We also collect your next-of-kin's name and WhatsApp number, kept strictly for record-keeping and direct manual contact.
2. How we use it
We use your information to run your account, verify your identity, process contributions, calculate and pay remittances, and communicate with you about your cohort. WhatsApp numbers are never used for automated messaging or connected to any WhatsApp Business API, they exist purely for our team to reach you directly if needed.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary information with our payment provider (to process contributions), our KYC document storage provider, and the licensed investment vehicle your cohort's capital flows through. We do not sell your data.
4. How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as required under Nigerian financial recordkeeping regulations.
5. Your choices
You can update your profile information at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to what we're required to retain for regulatory or financial recordkeeping purposes.
